Rick Taylor and Matt Guy comes out of the Losers Bracket to win "Bags & Babes" #2 over Duke Bush and Derrick King.

It was a beautiful and hot day for Hooters "Bags & Babes 2" in Louisville, KY on Dixie Highway. All the teams were ready to go and brought their A game, although the Hooters Girls presented a welcomed distraction for everyone. Several good teams showed up along with some up and coming teams that caused a few problems for some of the favorites. The first round had a good matchup between Keith Blair / Danny Seals and Matt Guy / Rick Taylor. Blair and Seals defeated Guy and Taylor in two straight games to advance in the winners bracket. Guy and Taylor were forced to go to the losers bracket, but it was definitely not the last time you would hear from them. Duke Bush / Derrick King and Anthony Hash / Mark Smothers cruised through the winners bracket and met each other in the finals of the winners bracket. Bush / King defeated Hash / Smothers send them to the finals of the losers bracket. Coming all the way out of the losers bracket was Guy and Taylor. Guy and Taylor defeated Hash / Smothers to give Hash / Smothers a third place finish. In the finals it came down to Bush / King and Guy / Taylor. The team of Guy and Taylor defeated Bush and King in the first match and forced a final game to 21. Guy and Taylor defeated Bush and King in a very tight one to win the Hooters "Bags & Babes 2" championship.

Other teams of note - Troy Davis and Jeremy Bickers finished fourth after winning the first Bags and Babes tournament of the season on May 8th. David Rogers and Donnie Brauner finished tied for 5th with Doug Kehs and Shane Leigh. Other teams with good showings were Danny Seals and Keith Blair, Buster Benningfield and Caleb Longacre, Willie Jeffries and Troy Netherton, Matt Ogden and Michael Ratcliffe (2nd in May 8th ,Bags & Babes), and Jason Quuak and Sean Anderson.
